I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty cold.  I usually like to do my livestock chores immediately in the morning, sometimes before sunrise, but the past few weeks I’ve been gradually getting out just a little later so the sun’s starting to warm things up.  All the horses have beautiful winter coats coming in and they’re starting to look all fuzzy.  Moo has her coat in and her big ears are just so fluffy, if it’s possible to look cute, believe me, she does.

We have a very long list of Fall chores yet to do and it’s amazing that we’ve only got another few weeks to get them in!  We’ve got to get a section of pipe replaced, get the firestove operational, and get the last mowing in out in the pastures.  No rest for the weary eh?  I much prefer doing these outdoor chores in the Fall anyway, I’m just not a summer person.
